As of 11:00 a.m. on May 18, a total of 4,823 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed in Armenia, of which 2,019 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At this time, 2,718 infected individuals are actually receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 41,850 tests have been conducted. Thus, there are 351 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 94 recoveries.
In total, 61 deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (an increase of 1).
The RA Ministry of Health announced that the deceased patient was an 84-year-old man who had accompanying chronic illnesses.
One more death has been recorded in which the patient tested positive for the coronavirus infection, but death was caused by another illness. The total number of such cases has reached 25.
