In Armenia, as of 11:00 a.m. on 20 May, a total of 5,271 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of which 2,419 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At this time, 2,758 infected individuals are receiving actual treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 44,071 tests have been conducted. Thus, there are 230 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 255 recoveries.
In total, 67 deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (an increase of 3).
The RA Ministry of Health has reported that the deceased patients were men aged 78, 65 and 68, and had accompanying chronic diseases.
Two additional deaths have been recorded in which the patient tested positive for the coronavirus infection, but death was caused by another illness. The total number of such cases has reached 27.
