As of 11:00 a.m. on 21 May, a total of 5,606 cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed in Armenia, of which 2,581 have recovered.
This was stated on the website of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health.
At this time, 2,928 infected individuals are receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease. In total, 44,822 tests have been conducted. Thus, there are 335 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease and 162 recoveries.
In total, 70 deaths from the coronavirus disease have been recorded (an increase of 3).
The RA Ministry of Health reported that the deceased patients were men aged 64, 65 and 90, and had underlying chronic diseases.
There have also been 27 recorded deaths in which the patient tested positive for the coronavirus infection, but death resulted from another illness.
