As of 17 August, no new cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed in the Republic of Artsakh. This was reported by the Artsakh Information Center.
To date, the novel coronavirus disease has been confirmed in 254 people, of whom 248 have recovered from the illness. Five are currently receiving treatment, and a total of nine citizens remain in isolation.
Doctors assess the condition of 2 patients as severe and that of 3 as moderate.
For testing purposes, 137 samples were taken. To date, 8,046 test samples have been examined.
No deaths from the coronavirus have been recorded in the republic. In one case of death, the citizen had been diagnosed with the coronavirus disease, but the death was due to other causes.
