COVID-19: Visits, discharges and leaves of servicemen banned in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia

Due to the recent increase in the incidence of “COVID-19”, health and anti-epidemic measures are being implemented in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia. Due to the recent increase in the incidence of “COVID-19”, health and anti-epidemic measures are being implemented in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.

The Ministry of Defence has announced that, guided by the requirements of point 17 of Decision No. 1514-N of the Government of the Republic of Armenia of 11 September 2020, visits, discharges and leaves of conscripts on compulsory military service have been banned, with the exception of cases provided for under sub-point 2 of part 6 of Article 28 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Military Service and the Status of a Serviceman” (in the event of the death of a family member (spouse, child, father, mother, sister, brother, grandmother, grandfather)).

We ask that you approach the restrictions imposed by the epidemiological situation with understanding.
