The Government of Armenia announces that for saving numerous human lives and for years of selfless work, Aleppo-Armenian physician Dr. Hagop (Hrayr) Hovakimyan has been awarded the title of National Hero. Cardiologist Hovakimyan is the first physician to receive this highest honor.
By decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia, Hrayr Hovakimyan has received the Order of the Fatherland as a National Hero.
