During phone conversation with Lavrov, Armenia’s Acting Foreign Minister informs about incident at state border

On 12 May, Acting Foreign Minister of Armenia Ara Ayvazyan had a phone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. The Armenian Foreign Ministry reported that Acting Minister Ayvazyan informed his counterpart about the recent incident at Armenia’s state border and noted the inadmissibility of provoking such provocations by the Azerbaijani side. Both sides emphasized the full implementation of the agreements reached on regional security and stability, and the coordination of steps to prevent the escalation of the situation.
