On 24 October, at 21:04 local time, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 was recorded by the seismological network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia, in the Armenia-Georgia border zone, 9 km east of the village of Bavra, at a depth of 10 km.
The earthquake was felt in the Shirak region with an intensity of 4, and in the cities of Vanadzor, Spitak and the village of Shnogh in the Lori region with an intensity of 3-4.
