During a live Facebook broadcast, Edmon Marukyan, head of the Bright Armenia faction in the RA National Assembly, proposed to Nikol Pashinyan that, in order to pull the country out of turmoil, he immediately put an end to the chaos created in the country, revoke the decree dismissing Chief of General Staff Onik Gasparyan, reappoint the Deputy Chief of General Staff, dissolve parliament and call snap elections as soon as possible.
“We, in response, will sign any memorandum stating that in the event of the prime minister’s resignation, we will not nominate ourselves or anyone else, so that parliament is dissolved and we all go to elections,” Marukyan said.
