The Police inform that entry to the Republic of Artsakh is temporarily suspended for all persons.
“In connection with the state of emergency declared in the Republic of Armenia, with the aim of ensuring the effectiveness of the work carried out to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, permanent checkpoints will be immediately established on the roads leading to the Republic of Artsakh (the Sotk-Karvachar road, the border sections from the villages of Tegh and Syunik towards Artsakh) by the forces of the RA traffic police and territorial divisions, temporarily prohibiting the entry of all persons into the Republic of Artsakh.
Exceptions will be made:
– for persons registered in the Republic of Artsakh,
– for vehicles carrying cargo, including trucks, regardless of load, and for passenger cars, provided they are necessarily loaded,
– for persons and journalists carrying out an observer mission for the elections to be held in Artsakh, provided they have the relevant documents,” the Police statement said.
