EU and WHO to Support Armenia in Vaccination Against the ‘Corona’ Virus

The European Union and the World Health Organization will spend 40 million euros over three years to ensure access to vaccines against the ‘Corona’ virus pandemic in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine. As reported by Armenpress, this was announced by Reuters. “Initially, the funds will be used to support preparatory phases, with particular emphasis on urgent needs in the strategic sphere, such as planning, equipment, training of healthcare workers, and information,” the World Health Organization stated, noting that this will be followed by support for the effective distribution and monitoring of vaccines.
