Mass brawls took place along the entire length of the border between our soldiers and the Azerbaijani soldiers. This was stated by Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during an extraordinary session of the National Assembly on 20 May.
“Now they say, why did the Ministry of Defence deny it, then confirm it? Because when it was made public, you know they report to the Ministry of Defence, they say, I report that they attacked, did we flee? No, they do not report that, they report the end result. They say, there was an incident, we resolved it. From a two-hour incident, Azerbaijan cuts it down to 3 minutes and gives it to its agents for informational impact. Those people are anti-state people,” said Nikol Pashinyan.
He also referred to the shootings that took place on the Gegharkunik border: “The situation is truly tense. Today, yes, there was shooting in the Kut region, but afterwards the sides recorded that it was the result of a misunderstanding,” he said.
