A group of ambassadors accredited to Armenia, including those of France, Germany, Italy, Poland, and Greece, have traveled to the province of Syunik to familiarize themselves with the situation on the ground.
The EU delegation, headed by Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin, is also in Syunik.
The diplomats visited the area adjacent to Lake Sev and returned to Goris, where they gave brief remarks to journalists.
Journalists did not accompany the ambassadors, because at the last moment the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed them that their visit to the Lake Sev area was prohibited, citing a decision by the Ministry of Defense.
