A regular session of the Security Council was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
In addition to the members of the Security Council, the session was also attended by President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan, President of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan, Head of the Prime Minister’s Staff Arayik Harutyunyan, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan, Finance Minister Tigran Khachatryan, Minister of High-Tech Industry Robert Khachatryan, Head of the National Assembly’s “Civil Contract” faction Hayk Konjoryan, and Deputy Minister of Defense Karen Brutyan.
At the beginning of the session, Prime Minister Pashinyan stated.

At the regular session of the Security Council, we are going to discuss a wide range of issues, including, of course, the military-political situation established in the region.
Before moving on to the agenda items, I also want to inform you that today we discussed this issue with the President of the Republic, and Tigran Khachatryan, who until now held the position of Minister of Finance, will be appointed to the position of Deputy Prime Minister. Vahe Hovhannisyan, who holds the position of Deputy Minister of Finance, will be appointed to the position of Minister of Finance.”
