The first Azerbaijan studies center has opened in Artsakh. The new project of strategic importance for the think tank/foundation has thus become a reality. This was reported on the Facebook page of Genesis Armenia.
The Karo Karapetyan Center, equipped with the necessary tools and resources for professional study, is located in the building of the Artsakh State University. The initiative was brought to life through the efforts of Karo Karapetyan’s wife, Vartoug Karapetyan, and their children (Mr. and Mrs. Meghri and Bedi Autish, their child Vani, Abo Karapetyan, Uri Karapetyan), along with Genesis Armenia.
In the first phase, more than a dozen young people from Artsakh will study Azerbaijani and Azerbaijan free of charge at the center. The program aims to prepare an educated generation that knows its national-state interests and its enemy well.
The foundation of Genesis Armenia’s policy is the goal of overcoming the military-political and security challenges of the two Armenian states. Within the framework of this policy, the center will train Azerbaijani language specialists who will be able to apply their skills in neutralizing the informational, propaganda, and security threats coming from the Turkish-Azerbaijani tandem.
