During the preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated under Article 300, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code at the RA Special Investigation Service, factual data were obtained indicating that officials, acting on group interests, personally and through employees who were not officials, committed official forgeries in the process of the resignation of the former President of the RA Constitutional Court, Gagik Harutyunyan.
Taking into account that a new apparent crime has been discovered, a new criminal case has been initiated under Article 314, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code at the RA Special Investigation Service, which has been joined with the criminal case initiated on the occasion of the usurpation of power.
A. B., the former Deputy Head of the RA National Assembly Staff, has been arrested on suspicion of committing the criminal act provided for under Article 314, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code.
The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
