The French National Assembly today, one week after the historic decision of the French Senate regarding the recognition of the Republic of Artsakh, adopted by 188 votes in favor and 3 against a resolution in which the urgent need to recognize Mountainous Karabagh is emphasized.
The resolution also records the facts of Azerbaijan’s failure of the peace process by military means and the deployment of mercenaries of terrorist groups with Turkey’s support in Mountainous Karabagh.
Last week the French Senate had adopted a corresponding resolution on the need to recognize Artsakh and called on the country’s government to recognize the independence of the Republic of Artsakh.
