A 32-year-old patient in extremely critical condition has been cured of the coronavirus and went home yesterday. This was announced on his Facebook page by Karen Poghosyan, deputy director for general affairs of the Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics.
“I have more good news this evening —
Today we sent home our most seriously ill patient, 32-year-old Kh.V. He was admitted to our center on March 28 with a confirmed coronavirus infection, bilateral pneumonia, third-degree respiratory failure, in extremely critical condition. In the intensive care unit he was placed on a ventilator.
The entire staff of the intensive care unit, skilled physicians, under the leadership of department head Anahit Barseghyan, fought day and night for the patient’s life.
Today our patient left our center walking, backpack on his shoulders, smile on his face.
Special thanks to the staff of the intensive care unit.
We are fighting together,” wrote Poghosyan.
