Armenia has launched a large-scale process of reform of the Armed Forces. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this at a government meeting.
“Azerbaijan is trying through such provocations to ensure that Armenia has no opportunity to carry out the reforms of the Armed Forces. Unfortunately, Azerbaijan has some success in the sense of relations with our allies, where they try to ensure that arms and ammunition are not supplied to Armenia.
We have cases where hundreds of millions of dollars have been paid, but supply obligations towards Armenia are not fulfilled, including by allied countries. We must deeply analyse this situation. All this is happening with the far-reaching or not-so-far-reaching goal that we renounce our statehood, our sovereignty, make concessions on territorial integrity, but despite all factors we are determined in the cause of defending our independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity,” said Nikol Pashinyan.
