Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan wrote on his Facebook page:
“The National Assembly adopted the constitutional amendments, whereby the current president of the Constitutional Court will be removed from office, and three members of the CC will be sent into retirement.
The amendment to the “NA Rules of Procedure” law was also adopted, which will enter into force after being signed by the President of the Republic, after which the NA president will publish the package of constitutional amendments, and from that moment the CC president will be considered removed from office, and the powers of the three CC judges will cease.
