On suspicion of abuse of official position and embezzlement of property on an especially large scale, Gagik Khachatryan was arrested today. This information was reported by the official website of the National Security Service (NSS).
It should be noted that the investigative department of the National Security Service conducted searches in the apartment, private house, and premises belonging to Gagik Khachatryan, as well as in the premises and private houses of other individuals connected to Gagik Khachatryan.
According to the NSS statement, the preliminary investigation is ongoing. During a conversation with journalists, the Director of the National Security Service, Artur Vanetsyan, stated that it is not excluded that the charges may also be supplemented with other articles.
