During the 4 days of Azerbaijan’s large-scale military operations against Artsakh, the Armenian side has struck nearly as many enemy armored vehicles as during the entire Artsakh War. Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan said this during a press conference.
“In 4 days, nearly as many enemy vehicles have been hit as during the Artsakh War,” said Harutyunyan.
The President of Artsakh noted that Azerbaijan’s first strike was unexpected, but comparing it to fascist Germany’s strike against the Soviet Union, he noted that German troops reached nearly Moscow from the border within days, while today the fighting is taking place on the border and nothing has changed.
Listing the factors for the end of the large-scale war unleashed by Azerbaijan, the President of Artsakh considered the absence of reason in Azerbaijan’s leadership to be the main factor.
“The first main factor is the factor of reason, which is absent in the enemy’s leadership. The war will end when the people of Azerbaijan understand that they have an anti-Azerbaijani government,” said Harutyunyan.
The President of Artsakh stressed that the war will end with the defeat of Azerbaijan, and the consequences will be very severe for the country that unleashed it.
“The consequences — thousands or tens of thousands of casualties on their side, many times more wounded. The destruction of the economy, which will not be possible to restore for decades. The people of Azerbaijan will have serious social problems and tension for decades, and oil reserves are diminishing, financial resources are running out. We understand that they must justify the hundreds of billions of dollars turned to dust during this period,” the President noted.
