Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has expressed confidence that the United States of America will recognize the Armenian Genocide. Pashinyan stated this during a conversation with Fox LA correspondent Alex Michaelson.
“It is inevitable. The United States of America will recognize the Armenian Genocide. I am not sure exactly when it will happen, but I am certain that it will take place,” the Prime Minister said.
Nikol Pashinyan also noted that this year’s Independence Day celebration was held in Gyumri, because Gyumri is the second largest city in Armenia, distinguished by its antiquity and beauty, and many had never visited Gyumri.
Referring to the velvet, non-violent revolution, Pashinyan emphasized that it did not happen so that he would become Prime Minister. According to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, there is economic progress in the country, and it is gradually growing every month. “And I am now confident that we will succeed in terms of our economic revolution,” he observed.
He also said that he wants to inform more people living in the United States of America about what is happening in Armenia.
“I want to inform a greater number of people in America about what is happening in Armenia, because that is the victory of democracy,” the Prime Minister said.
Let us recall that Nikol Pashinyan delivered a speech on 23 September at a rally held in Grand Park in Los Angeles.
