With the aim of checking the level of combat readiness and the moral-psychological state of the personnel, the deputy commander of the 5th Army Corps, Colonel S. Stepanyan, visited outposts on 22 July. This was reported by the RA Ministry of Defense.
The deputy commander of the army corps familiarized himself with the situation prevailing in that section of the border, discussed emerging issues with the personnel, and gave instructions to the heads of units regarding the organization of further service.
