Victory will be ours. President of the Republic of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan made the following post on his Facebook page:
“Dear compatriots living in the Homeland and the Diaspora,
For the second day now we continue to be actively engaged in the large-scale military operations unleashed by the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan. During the night, the Defense Army carried out several brilliant military operations, restoring lost positions in different sections of the defensive line or making certain advances.
I am proud and grateful to our troops and command for the high fighting spirit and readiness they are demonstrating.
I am proud and grateful to our people for the prudence they have shown during this time, for their dedication of everything for the sake of the Homeland and the front.
I am proud and grateful to our compatriots and authorities in the Republic of Armenia for their unconditional support.
I am proud and grateful to our compatriots around the world for the thousands of calls and words of support.
I express my reverence and condolences to the families of all our boys who have fallen with a hero’s death during this time. I am proud and grateful.
Dear compatriots,
Once again I address you all with unconditional faith in and feeling of victory. It is impossible to defeat a people that turns into a solid and united army within hours.
