“RIA Novosti” — The presidents of Russia and France, Vladimir Putin and Emmanuel Macron, discussed regional issues, including the Karabakh conflict, during their meeting held in the French city of Brégançon.
The spokesperson of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, said that the negotiations were substantive, constructive and trust-based. Peskov also noted that they touched upon regional conflicts — the Balkan issue, as well as the Karabakh problem — and that the two leaders also addressed the issue of climate warming and the situation created in Antarctica.
“All of that can be characterised as a dialogue that is substantive in content, quite constructive and trust-based,” Peskov concluded.
