Kristine Grigoryan Assumes the Office of Human Rights Defender

The term of office of Arman Tatoyan, the former Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia, has come to an end. From now on, the functions of the Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia will be carried out by Kristine Grigoryan, the former Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia. Let us recall that Grigoryan was elected to the office of Human Rights Defender on January 24, in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, with a vote of 68 in favor and 0 against. The term of office of Arman Tatoyan, the former Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia, has come to an end.

From now on, the functions of the Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia will be carried out by Kristine Grigoryan, the former Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia.

Let us recall that Grigoryan was elected to the office of Human Rights Defender on January 24, in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, with a vote of 68 in favor and 0 against.

Tatoyan had assumed the office of Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia on February 23, 2016.
