Georgia, taking into account the country’s national interests and the interests of its people, does not plan to join the economic and financial sanctions imposed by the West against Russia. This was stated by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
“The imposition of sanctions would cause greater harm to our country and our people,” Garibashvili noted.
The head of the Georgian government also said that he sees no need to hold a meeting of the National Security Council or an extraordinary session of parliament.
