RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that “sanctions actions will have an obvious impact on the economic atmosphere in the Eurasian region.”
Pashinyan, who is in Nur-Sultan, made this statement during a meeting of the heads of government of the EEU member states with Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
“We are in a sensitive period, in geopolitically sensitive tectonic processes. Of course, it is obvious that sanctions actions will have an obvious impact on the economic atmosphere in the Eurasian region, and we must discuss what practical decisions should be taken so that these negative impacts are minimal and, if possible, circumvented, by implementing appropriate steps,” the RA Prime Minister said.
Nikol Pashinyan also said that there is potential for the expansion of the Eurasian economic region.
“There are observer states with which we cooperate quite effectively. There is also a certain interest from other countries in strengthening ties with the Eurasian Economic Union,” the Prime Minister said.
