Ukraine has severed diplomatic relations with Russia. This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“We have severed diplomatic relations with Russia. Ukraine is defending itself and will not renounce its freedom, regardless of what Moscow may think,” said Zelensky.
With this decision, the parties are deprived of the possibility of bilateral communication on the diplomatic level. The diplomats of the two countries will cease their activities. Diplomatic relations between the countries will take place through the mediation of third countries.
