It is evident that, especially after the disastrous 44-day war, our sisters and brothers in Artsakh have been subjected to a distressing and burdensome situation. On top of the widespread mourning and painful psychological turmoil have come the multifaceted anxieties and needs of our displaced relatives. A year after the horrifying battles, here we are, at the onset of winter, and a large number of our compatriots remain homeless.
But it is not only homes that are lacking there. School buildings, medical facilities and many other necessary structures must also be brought to life quickly, so that, at a minimum, the basic standard of living of the Armenians of Artsakh can be secured. And all of this must happen now, must happen today. Otherwise, it may be too late. Because desperate people may be forced to leave Artsakh. All possible irreversible consequences must be prevented at all costs. The depopulation of Artsakh must be prevented and decisively halted.
Thousands of brave sons sacrificed even their lives for the liberation and preservation of the heroic cradle. The majority of the Armenians of the diaspora can offer nothing but monetary donations. The fateful moment has arrived when each of us must, practically, demonstrate his patriotism. Because, truly, THE EXISTENCE OF ARTSAKH IS AT STAKE. Therefore, even at the cost of sacrifice, we must provide the maximum of what we can.
Let no one try to excuse his unwillingness. Each of us, at peace with his conscience, must show his best. Otherwise, undoubtedly, it would mean being a deserter.

Painfully, it is necessary to address yet another disturbing phenomenon.
