The Armenian Democratic Liberal Party’s Armenian Cause Council has sent a letter to United States President Joseph Biden on the occasion of the 106th anniversary of the genocide, calling for the Armenian Genocide to be officially declared and recognized at the presidential level, as well as to affirm the international validity of state crimes committed against the Armenian people by Ottoman Turkey, which began in 1915, and to recognize it as a Genocide. The White House has reciprocally responded, with a reply that the letter will be useful in order to better present the raised issue.
The Secretary General of the ADL’s Armenian Cause Council is public figure, historian Ara Aharonyan, who coordinates an international structure, composed of conscious and professional advisors involved within ADL circles. The main processes of the Armenian Cause Council are to organize and pursue the work of claim and Armenian preservation, which will be aimed at complementing the implementation of the ADL’s nationwide programs.
