By decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian, Lilit Makunts has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the USA. We learn this from the official website of the President of the Republic of Armenia:
“Based on the Prime Minister’s proposal, in accordance with Article 132, Part 1, Point 2 of the Constitution,
Lilit Makunts is appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the United States of America for a term of four years (residence: Washington),” reads the decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia.
