Martuni and the Upper Sub-District Villages of the Askeran Region Shelled During the Night; Localized Fighting Underway: Defense Army

During the night of 27-28 October, a relatively stable but tense situation was maintained along the line of the Artsakh-Azerbaijani conflict zone. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh. “In the evening, the adversary continued shelling civilian settlements, with Martuni and the villages of the upper sub-district of the Askeran region coming under fire in particular. At present, localized fighting is underway along certain directions of the front line. Defense Army units continue operations to destroy the adversary’s infiltrating groups,” the Defense Army stated.
