On 21 September 2022, Andranik Kocharyan, Chairman of the RA National Assembly Standing Committee on Defense and Security, together with committee member, RA NA Deputy Gurgen Melkonyan, and committee staff, visited the 2nd Army Corps of the RA Armed Forces.
During the visit, issues related to defense and territorial militia were discussed with the corps commander.
They then met with the corps brigade commander and discussed issues concerning the restoration of the bombed military unit, as well as a number of other issues related to armaments and supply.
They also visited frontline positions, discussed issues related to the service of personnel in positions with the personnel carrying out defense, celebrated Independence Day together with soldiers and officers, and summarized the work accomplished.
At the end of the day, programmatic issues related to combat service were discussed together with corps commander Grigoryan and the corps command staff.
