On 8 February, Mexico’s Senate adopted a document recognizing the Armenian Genocide, citing the need to protect universal human rights. This was reported by the Armenian Embassy in Mexico.
At the same time, the Senate urged the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs to support Mexico’s official recognition of the Armenian Genocide.
