The city council of Milan, Italy, has recognized the independence of Artsakh and condemned the attack by Turkey and Azerbaijan. This was written on his Facebook page by Matteo Forte, a member of the city council.
The urgent motion to recognize Artsakh’s independence was adopted unanimously by the city council. Through the motion, the city council instructed the mayor of Milan and the city’s executive authorities to request that Italy’s national authorities recognize the Republic of Artsakh.
“Recognition can lead not only to the establishment of justice, but also to an end to the silence that has long become complicity in crime,” the city council’s decision stated.
