A joint meeting was also held with the participation of the foreign ministers. The co-chairs welcome this first such meeting since November 2020 as a sign of the two countries’ determination to resume the peace process through direct dialogue, aimed at establishing security, stability and prosperity in the region.

The mediators, in accordance with their mandate, reaffirm their commitment to working with the parties toward a comprehensive settlement of all remaining issues related to and arising from the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The mediators have proposed clear, targeted measures regarding the de-escalation of the situation and possible next steps.”
