Within the framework of the Warsaw Security Forum, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan met with Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany Johann Wadephul.
The interlocutors discussed the progress of the implementation of the Armenia-Germany strategic partnership agenda, stressing result-oriented cooperation through concrete programmes in the sectors recorded therein.
The ministers also touched upon Armenia-Germany trade and economic relations. The positive dynamics of the export of Armenian-made goods to Germany was noted with satisfaction, which can be further invigorated by the autonomous trade measures adopted by the EU. In this context, Ararat Mirzoyan highly appreciated Germany’s continued support in the process of deepening the Armenia-EU partnership.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Johann Wadephul exchanged views on regional developments. Minister Mirzoyan presented the progress of the work aimed at promoting interconnectivity and cooperation in the South Caucasus.
Reference was made to the concrete steps aimed at developing the infrastructure network and increasing energy resilience.
