The Hayastan All-Armenian Fund is calling for unity in the fight against the coronavirus and for the support of the healthcare sector through the contribution of all Armenians.
Below is the statement:
«With the spread of the new coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, the international community is mobilizing and taking appropriate action. As is well known, during crises, Armenians throughout the world have always united around a single purpose: to help one another and their homeland.
The Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Health are providing citizens with regularly updated information on the current situation, as well as on the steps necessary to prevent the further spread of the infection.
Our healthcare workers, too, endangering their own lives, are working selflessly and diligently to help patients and prevent the further spread of the virus.
Given the possibility of an exponential increase in the virus, the healthcare sector needs the support of all Armenians. For this reason, the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund will consolidate the donations it receives and will direct the entire amount collected during this initiative toward the provision of necessary medical supplies for the healthcare sector, as well as to those families who need to cope with the situation created.
