Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has decided that the positions of Director of the National Security Service and Chief of Police will be filled by the current acting officials. Pashinyan said this during an interview with the “Shant” television company.
“I have already decided. The acting Chief of Police will be appointed Chief of Police, and the acting Director of the National Security Service (NSS) will be appointed Director of the NSS,” said Pashinyan.
The acting Director of the NSS is Eduard Martirosyan, following Artur Vanetsyan’s resignation, while Arman Sargsyan is performing the duties of Chief of Police following Valeri Osipyan’s dismissal.
