There are about 100 police officers infected with the coronavirus in the Republic of Armenia. The head of the RA police, Arman Sargsyan, said this during a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly.
“In the police system there are about 100 infected officers. There are also those in isolation. Their condition is normal; we have had cases where they were in bad condition, but now they have recovered,” said Sargsyan.
As of 5 June, 11:00, a total of 11,817 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed in Armenia, of which 3,513 have recovered. In total, 183 deaths from coronavirus disease have been recorded.
The government on 14 May decided to extend the state of emergency declared on 16 March in the RA and extended until 14 May, for an additional 30 days from 14 May, 17:00, until 13 June, 17:00 inclusive.
