By order of the Minister of Defense of Armenia, Lieutenant General Movses Hagopian has been appointed head of the Military Control Service of the Ministry of Defense. This was announced by the press secretary of the Minister of Defense, Artsrun Hovhannisyan.
By other orders of the Minister, Major General Kamo Kochunts has been appointed deputy head of the Military Control Service of the Ministry of Defense, and Colonel Vachakan Nersesyan has been appointed chief inspector of the Military Control Service of the Ministry of Defense.
Let us recall that by the decision of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Chief Military Inspector Movses Hagopian and his deputies, Kamo Kochunts and Vachakan Nersesyan, had been relieved of their positions.
Moveses Hagopian had been appointed Chief Military Inspector after the revolution, on May 24 of last year, by the decision of Nikol Pashinyan. Prior to that, he held the position of Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces. And earlier, for many years, he led the Defense Army of Artsakh.
