Arsen Julfalakyan, a deputy of the National Assembly’s «My Step» faction, has applied to the President of the RA National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan, regarding the relinquishment of his parliamentary mandate.
Jul falakyan issued a statement in which he noted that the reason for taking this step was his principled disagreements with the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Arayik Harutyunyan, regarding the approaches to the management of the sectors under his authority.
Arsen Julfalakyan, who announced yesterday that he would relinquish his mandate, is to be replaced by Narek Ghahramanyan, who is the next number on the proportional list of the «My Step» alliance. In 2018, he was appointed acting mayor of Kapan by the decision of Nikol Pashinyan.
Narek Ghahramanyan, born in 1991, is a founding member of the Civil Contract party.
