“My Step” Faction Sees No Demand for Snap Elections

The “My Step” faction of the National Assembly met with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on 7 February, after which it issued a statement. “During the meeting it was noted that the Prime Minister’s proposal to hold snap parliamentary elections did not receive a positive response from the parliamentary opposition, there is no demand for snap elections among broad segments of society, and the ‘My Step’ faction continues to support the Prime Minister and the government in the implementation of the road map presented on 18 November,” the faction’s statement said.
