Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the State of Emergency Commandant Tigran Avinyan has published on his Facebook page the
list of countries from which entry of citizens to Armenia is banned:
“…Due to the spread of the coronavirus in a number of countries, today I have decided to ban the entry of citizens of 16 countries into the Republic of Armenia:
Citizens of the Republic of Armenia returning from those countries must undergo a 14-day quarantine.
The list of countries is:
1. People’s Republic of China
2. Islamic Republic of Iran
3. South Korea
4. Japan
5. Italy
6. Spain
7. France
8. Germany
9. Switzerland
10. Denmark
11. Austria
12. Belgium
13. Norway
14. Sweden
15. Netherlands
16. United Kingdom
The entry into Armenia of a driver and one substitute driver of vehicles carrying out freight transportation from those countries will not be restricted.
In addition, all our citizens returning from foreign destinations must self-quarantine for a period of 14 days. If symptoms of the illness appear during self-quarantine, contact should be made immediately via the 060 838300 hotline…” the statement said.
