The ADL delegation that arrived in Artsakh, headed by ADL Central Board member Tigran Apasyan, continued to participate in the electoral meetings taking place in Artsakh.

It should be noted that on Saturday morning, 14 March, representatives of the parties comprising the “New Artsakh” alliance, headed by presidential candidate Mr. Masis Mayilyan, visited four communities in Artsakh. The ADL delegation, joining the campaign group, successively visited the rural communities of Chapar, Zaglik, Aknaberd and Haterk in Artsakh.

During the meetings, the discussions focused in particular on the difficulties experienced by Armenian villagers living in Artsakh. The villagers, taking the floor in turn, presented the problems they face. These problems related especially to land cultivation, livestock breeding, as well as the social and economic difficulties present in those regions and villages.

In the villagers’ remarks, it was emphatically noted that today in Artsakh, the Armenian villager, despite his great efforts and industriousness, does not reap the just reward of his honest toil.

During the meetings, Artsakh presidential candidate Masis Mayilyan in his speech emphasised and stressed that today more than ever, the people of Artsakh and especially the Artsakh government and state systems are obliged to stand by the just reward of the Armenian villager and improve his life at all costs.

Among the speakers was also ADL Central Board member Bardugh Galstyan, who in his speech likewise emphasised the organisation of rural communities, awareness of villagers’ problems, as well as the importance of creating primary and permanent solutions to existing problems.

At the end of the day, all participants concluded their campaign day with great satisfaction, stressing that in Artsakh the Armenian villager continues to remain the most important and most fundamental pillar for the state.
