Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the Shahumyan region of the Republic of Artsakh on the 28th anniversary of the Armenian Army. The Prime Minister, together with President Bako Sahakyan of the Republic of Artsakh, Defense Ministers David Tonoyan of Armenia and Karen Abrahamyan of Artsakh, and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia Artak Davtyan, attended the ceremony for the handover of new service apartments.
The keys to the apartments of 32 officers were handed over to them by David Tonoyan.
Prime Minister Pashinyan and President Sahakyan toured the apartments and familiarized themselves with the conditions created. The Prime Minister congratulated the officers and their families celebrating their housewarming, wishing them prosperity and health. Nikol Pashinyan noted that the Armenian government will continue to keep the social and domestic issues of servicemen and officer personnel at the center of attention and take steps to address them.
President Bako Sahakyan of the Republic of Artsakh and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of the Republic of Armenia visited one of the military units located in the northwestern section of the Defense Army of the Republic of Artsakh on January 28 and participated in the solemn ceremony of commissioning a newly built officer residential building.
The President congratulated the servicemen on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day and the housewarming, wishing them trouble-free service and all the best.
On the same day, President Sahakyan attended the opening of a newly built arsenal in a military unit located in the northern section of the republic.
