As is known, presidential and parliamentary elections are to take place in Artsakh during the coming month of March.
On this occasion, the Artsakh body of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party held an extraordinary congress, at the conclusion of which the attendees discussed a number of issues relating to the stance the party is to adopt in the coming phase and its overall activity.
At the end of the congress, a communiqué was published, which we present below.
“On 26 January, the extraordinary congress of the Artsakh Armenian Democratic Liberal Party was held, as a result of which unified decisions were taken on the 2 fundamental issues fixed on the agenda.
During the congress, a number of intra-party issues were brought to light, and the party’s format of participation in the upcoming nationwide elections was clarified and specified.
• The congress approved and endorsed the Central Board’s proposal to form an alliance with the ‘Tomorrow’s Artsakh’ and ‘Identity and Unity’ parties
• It unanimously confirmed the decision to support Masis Mayilyan, the candidate for President of Artsakh, in the upcoming presidential elections.
• It endorsed and confirmed the proportional list for participation in the National Assembly elections to be held in the spring.”
