The administration of the Kashatagh district of the Republic of Artsakh has issued a statement, in which it is said:
«We officially declare that no resident has been “ordered” to leave Berdzor by November 30.
A version is circulating that, as of December 1, the governance of the city of Berdzor must pass to new Azerbaijani city authorities, while the residents of Berdzor will be permitted to continue living there.
This is still a hypothesis, about the denial or confirmation of which we can say nothing for now; accordingly, we could not have “ordered” anyone to leave the city.
Discussions and negotiations are underway to clarify the future status of the city of Berdzor, the results of which, we hope, the government of the Republic of Artsakh will announce in due time, and, as far as possible, no one will suffer».
It should be noted that a number of social media users are raising the alarm that the residents of Berdzor have been given three days to leave the city.
